Good day to everyone, we own a 57 year old very well constructed all outside brick duplex. we are now going to replace our entire windows.(complete units outside and in) Since you guys are far from Montreal I know I can get an honest opinion : should I retrofit or go brick to brick. The opinion here is spend more but go brick to brick. True there are no present leaks(water) on the present windows which were changed 25 years ago;these were just aluminum outside windows and the old sash windows were still kept inside. There is also a very large front window for each flat that has never been changed Looking forward for your advice, yours truly Jerry Solomon

Doors are grained the same way that they are painted, first, one side and one edge of a door belong to each side of the entrance. So any door woodgraining job, you are dealing with potentially two separate color schemes. This can give the appearance of wood.

[...] Windows Mississauga added an interesting post today on Financial incentives are available for energy smart shoppersHere’s a small readingSometimes there are home renovations and repairs that just have to be done, but a savvy shopper can use various tools to get it done right. For a homeowner, when the time came to replace a 25-year-old furnace in their recently purchased home in Toronto, they decided to get an energy audit done just to check out how energy-efficient the house actually was. In the process they discovered that not only could they get a sizable rebate on the furnace replacement, other upgrades would also qualify. [...]
